Terms of Service

Welcome to SwiftJet. By accessing or using our platform you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before booking or listing any watersport experience.

1. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • All information you provide must be accurate and up to date.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

2. Platform Role

SwiftJet is a marketplace, not an operator. We facilitate connections between customers and independent watersport operators but do not own, operate, or supervise any equipment or activities.

Each operator is an independent business solely responsible for their services, equipment condition, and compliance with local laws.

3. Bookings & Reservations

  • Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment.
  • You will receive a booking confirmation via email and in-app notification.
  • Arrive at the designated meeting point at the booked time. Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions without refund.
  • Follow all safety instructions provided by the operator.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • More than 48 hours before — Full refund.
  • 24–48 hours before — 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours — No refund.
  • Weather cancellations — Full refund or free reschedule if cancelled by operator due to unsafe conditions.

Individual operators may offer more generous cancellation policies, which will be clearly stated on their listing.

5. Operator Obligations

Operators listed on SwiftJet agree to:

  • Hold all required maritime and business licences for their jurisdiction.
  • Maintain equipment in safe, working condition with regular inspections.
  • Provide CE-certified life jackets for every participant.
  • Carry adequate public liability and marine insurance.
  • Respond to booking requests within 2 hours during business hours.
  • Comply with SwiftJet’s Community Guidelines and safety standards.

6. Customer Obligations

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Use equipment responsibly and in accordance with operator instructions.
  • Wear all required safety equipment, including life jackets.
  • Not operate any watercraft under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Report any damage or safety concerns immediately to the operator.
  • Accept financial responsibility for damage caused by negligence or misuse.
  • Treat operators, staff, and other customers with respect.

7. Assumption of Risk

Watersport activities carry inherent risks including, but not limited to, drowning, collision, and weather-related hazards. By booking through SwiftJet, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You confirm that you are physically fit to participate and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions to the operator.

8. Payments

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe. SwiftJet does not store your credit card details.
  • Prices displayed include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Operator payouts are processed weekly via bank transfer.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • SwiftJet is not liable for any injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from watersport activities booked through the platform.
  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any operator’s services.
  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking in question.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SwiftJet, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

11. User Content

By posting reviews, photos, or other content on SwiftJet, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services. You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal at any time.

12. Intellectual Property

All SwiftJet branding, logos, designs, and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our platform without written permission.

13. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from SwiftJet without permission.
  • Circumvent the platform to book directly with operators you discovered through SwiftJet.
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews.
  • Interfere with the platform’s operation or other users’ experience.

14. Account Termination

Either party may terminate an account at any time. SwiftJet may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms. If you wish to delete your account, contact us at info@swiftjet.app.

15. Dispute Resolution

  • We encourage amicable resolution of disputes between customers and operators.
  • Contact us at info@swiftjet.app and we will attempt to mediate within 5 business days.
  • EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/odr.

16. Force Majeure

SwiftJet is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or internet outages.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece). Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

18. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and SwiftJet.

20. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
